Mr. TINKERasked the Minister of Labour how many local authorities have 21 sent resolutions to him, which they have carried, urging the Government to increase the allowance to children in the new Unemployment Bill from 2s. to 3s.; and will he say what the Government intend to do with the question?
Mr. HUDSONMy right hon. Friend has received resolutions on this subject from 24 local authorities. As regards the second part of the question there is nothing I can add to what was said by my right hon. Friend when the subject was debated in Committee.
