HC Deb 06 March 1934 vol 286 cc1626-7
3. Lieut.-Colonel MOORE

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether the Trading Agreements hitherto concluded, and conditionally imposing an increased purchase percentage of British goods, have been in every case fully carried out by the countries concerned?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

Coal is the only article for the purchase of which from this country a definite percentage has been laid down in the Trade Agreements. On this matter I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the reply given on the 6th February to a question by the hon. Member for South Bradford (Mr. Holdsworth).
