§ Mr. EVERARDMay I ask whether, in view of the urgency of this matter, as it affects 70 per cent. of the farmers of this country, the right hon. Gentleman will give an undertaking that something will be done before the Summer Recess?
§ Mr. ELLIOTI do not think it will be possible for me to give such an undertaking.

§ Mr. ELLIOTI am fully acquainted with the urgency of the situation. I merely say that it is not possible for me to give such an undertaking as that desired by the hon. Member.
