HC Deb 14 June 1934 vol 290 cc1904-5
Mr. ATTLEE

May I ask the Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasury what business it is proposed to take next week?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Captain Margesson)

Perhaps it would be for the convenience of the House if I made a statement about the business to be taken to-morrow. If there is time, after the Motion to approve of the Central (Coal Mines) Scheme (Amendment) Order, 1934, we shall conclude the remaining stages of the Gas Undertakings Bill, and take the Second Reading of the Law Reform (Miscel- laneous Provisions) Bill which has come from another place. The business for next week will be as follows:

Monday: Finance Bill, Report stage.

Tuesday: Second Reading of the Petroleum (Production) Bill [Lords], and Committee stage of the necessary Money Resolution; Conclusion of the Committee stage of the Milk Bill and of the British Sugar (Subsidy) Bill.

Wednesday: Supply, Committee (9th Allotted Day), the Ministry of Health Vote will be debated.

Thursday: Supply, Committee (10th Allotted Day), Ministry of Labour Vote.

Friday: Finance Bill, Third Reading.

On any day if there is time other Orders will be taken. During the week, we shall consider any Amendment which may be received from another place to the Licensing (Permitted Hours) Bill.
