HC Deb 12 June 1934 vol 290 c1511
1. Mr. GEORGE GRIFFITHS

asked the Secretary for Mines if his attention has been called to the inquiry into the death of Horace Turner, who was gassed in Upton colliery on Whit Tuesday; and whether he can make a statement as to whether any prosecution is contemplated?

The SECRETARY for MINES (Mr. Ernest Brown)

The evidence given at the inquest and the report of the divisional inspector are being examined, and if the hon. Member will repeat his question next Tuesday I expect to be in a position to reply.
