§ Mr. COOPEROfficers and other ranks of the Territorial Army, when not undergoing training, are in the same position as civilians with regard to political organisation, except that they may not attend political meetings in military uniform.
Mr. BRAITHWAITEWill my hon. Friend bear in mind the unfortunate effect upon public opinion when persons who are known to be Territorials appear in the streets wearing the uniform of a political organisation which is constantly provoking civil disturbance?
§ Mr. DOBBIEWill the Minister inform the House whether it is permissible for military decorations to be worn along with political uniforms, and, if not, will he take the necessary steps to deal with the offenders?
