§ Sir P. CUNLIFFE-LISTERThe total numbers of British and German immigrants (excluding officials and visitors) for the five years 1929 to 1933 were: 916 British, 1,470; Germans, 1,226. I will circulate figures for the separate years with the OFFICIAL REPORT. The Mandatory Government is not in a position to afford special encouragement to immigrants of any particular nationality.
