HC Deb 04 June 1934 vol 290 c571
51. Brigadier-General NATION

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Education whether consideration has been given to the proposals recently submitted to him by the local authorities regarding Hull Grammar School; and whether he is now in a position to make any statement on the subject?

Captain AUSTIN HUDSON (Lord of the Treasury)

I have been asked to reply. As my hon. Friend has already informed the hon. and gallant Member, the Board have suggested to the Town Clerk of Hull that a conference be held between representatives of the governors of the grammar school and the local education authority and His Majesty's inspectors on the governors' proposal.
