§ Sir WALTER WOMERSLEY (Lord of the Treasury)I have been asked to reply. My Noble Friend assumes that the hon. Member has in mind the various forms of practical instruction given in public elementary schools. Such instruction is of a general, and not of a vocational, character, and no special regulations have been made by the board for it. The hon. Member may find the information given in Table 17 on page 117 of the board's recently published report for 1933 of interest.
