asked the Secretary for Mines the total quantity of coal exported from Great Britain and South Wales, respectively, during the 12 months before and since the trade agreements were made with Germany, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, the Argentine, and Finland, together with the price per ton during the same period?

The Trade Agreements do not all operate from the same date, and statistics in respect of a period of 12 months since the coal provisions of the agreements came into force are in most cases not yet available. The table which I will circulate gives the information asked for in respect of the 12 months ended 'May, 1934, during the greater part of which period the agreements were in operation, together with corresponding information for the previous 12 months.
