§ 20. Mr. GARDNERasked the Minister of Health what was the number of houses built and under construction at the last convenient date under the Housing Act, 1930; and what additional number of houses is added thereby to the total housing accommodation which the new houses replace?
Sir H. YOUNGThe numbers of new houses completed and under construction under this Act at the 31st March last were 17,569 and 10,512 respectively. The number of houses which had been demolished under this Act at the same date was 19,840.
