Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe only statistics available on this subject are those relating to the number of High Court writs issued for recovery of arrears of tax. In the years ending 31st December, 1931, 1932 and 1933, these numbered 5,705, 5,691 and 5,333 respectively. Information as to the amount recovered in these cases is not available.
