HC Deb 04 July 1934 vol 291 c1886
4. Mr. DRUMMOND WOLFF

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty what are the total fuel reserves available in the United Kingdom for the use of the Royal Navy in an emergency; and will he consider the advisability of increasing these reserves?

Sir B. EYRES MONSELL

It is not in the public interest to disclose what reserves of oil fuel are held for the Royal Navy. It is a matter which the Admiralty has under constant review.
