HC Deb 04 July 1934 vol 291 cc1895-6
16. Mr. NEIL MACLEAN

asked the President of the Board of Trade how long the Craighall Milling Company, Glasgow, has been closed; whether he can state what was its productive capacity of flour; and how many employés have become unemployed as a result of the closing of the mill?

Lieut.-Colonel COLVILLE

I understand that the Craighall Mill ceased to manufacture flour on the 3rd November, 1933; that its productive capacity is 30 sacks of 280 lb. per hour; and that the number of men discharged as a result of the closing down of the mill was 50.
