§ 49. Mr. McKEAGasked the Minister of Transport the total number of appeals which have been lodged under Section 81 of the Road Traffic Act, 1930, against decisions of the various traffic commissioners throughout the country, excluding the Metropolitan traffic area, by applicants owning 100 or more public service vehicles and by applicants owning less 752 than 100 public service vehicles, respectively; and whether he will give the corresponding figures for the south-eastern traffic area separately?
Captain HUDSONWithout detailed re-examination of every individual case and of the statistics of ownership of vehicles it would not be possible for my hon. Friend to indicate, even approximately, in how many cases the applicant to whose services an appeal related was at the date of the appeal the owner of more, or less, than 100 public service vehicles.
