HC Deb 22 February 1934 vol 286 cc487-8
52. Mr. CRAVEN-ELLIS

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will give a complete list of Empire and Foreign countries which had a favourable trade balance with Great Britain for the year ended December, 1933, or such other date at which the same can be calculated, giving in each case the amount of such favourable trade balance?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

The desired information is available from the particulars of the aggregate trade of the United Kingdom with each British and foreign country during the year 1933 which are set out on pages 176 to 186 of the "Accounts relating to Trade and Navigation of the United Kingdom" for January last.
