§ 21. Captain ERSKINE-BOLSTasked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been called to the new blood-test system for alcoholism; and whether the Home Office will consider its adoption?
§ Sir J. GILMOURI am aware of the test to which my hon. and gallant Friend refers. I presume that he has in mind its adoption in cases where drunkenness is an element in a criminal charge; but I doubt its value for such a purpose, and I have no power to require any person to submit to it.
