§ 4. Mr. THORPasked the Minister of Health whether the report of the inquiry held some two months ago into the Manchester Corporation scheme to establish an airport at Ringway has yet been received; whether it is proposed to publish the findings; and when may a decision be expected?
Sir H. YOUNGI have received the report of the inquiry, and it is under consideration. The proposals concern the Secretary of State for Air as well as myself. It is not the practice to publish reports of this kind. While I cannot at present give a date for the decision, the case is being expedited.
