Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe revised scheme does not differ in principle from the earlier proposals. In the opinion of the Government they would have the effect of reviving uneconomic competition to the prejudice of the interests of the British North Atlantic trade as a whole. Accordingly I do not feel able to modify the view which I have previously expressed.
