46. Major DAVIESThe Government's proposals for the period after 31st March, 1935, in respect of the livestock industry are embodied in the White Paper on the Livestock Situation (Cmd. 4651). As my hon. Friend is aware, these proposals involve negotiations with supplying countries and my right hon. Friend cannot give any indication as to when he will be in a position to make a further statement on the subject.
