asked the Postmaster-General whether he will state the number of full-time industrial employés of the Post Office whose wages do not exceed £3 a week and the number of part-time industrial employés whose wages average less than 30s. a week, less than 40s. a week, and less than 50s. a week, indicating in each case what part-time workers these are?

Approximately 10,000 of the full-time industrial employés of the Post Office are in receipt of wages not exceeding £3 a week. Of this number about 1,000 are below the age of 21 years. Part-time workers are not employed in the industrial establishments of the Post Office.
