HC Deb 03 December 1934 vol 295 c1219
19. Mr. R. J. RUSSELL

asked the Postmaster-General whether the regulations in respect of correspondence prepaid in cash regarding hours of acceptance and also days of acceptance are being carried out; and, if this be not so, in what circumstances the rule, as given on page 58 of the Post Office Guide, is being abrogated?

Sir K. WOOD

The regulations mentioned are still in force. Correspondence prepaid in cash is, however, sometimes exceptionally accepted outside the times stated in the Post Office Guide. If my hon. Friend will let me know what circumstances he has in mind I will have inquiry made.
