§ 14. Mr. RHYS DAVIESasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether His Majesty's Minister at Athens advised the Government of Greece of the desirability of communicating to the League of Nations the text of the protocol attached to the Balkanpact; and whether this advice was acted upon?
§ Sir J. SIMONHis Majesty's Government, on being informed of the signature of this protocol, reminded the signatory Governments of their obligation under Article 18 of the Covenant to register all treaties or international engagements with the League of Nations. I would add that the Balkan Pact, to which the protocol is attached, has not yet been ratified by all the signatories nor registered under Article 18, and the proctocol would naturally be registered with the pact of which it appears to form part.
