Resolution reported from the Select Committee;

  1. 1. "That, in the case of the South Downs Preservation [Lords], Petition for 1893 Bill, the Standing Orders ought to be dispensed with:—That the parties be permitted to proceed with their Bill, provided that Sub-clause (2) of Clause 15, giving power to the authority, as defined by the Bill, of power to purchase land compulsorily by means of an order made by the authority, and confirmed by the Minister of Health, be struck out of the Bill:—That the Committee on the Bill do report how far such order has been complied with."
  2. 2. "That, in the case of the Durham County Water Board Bill [Lords], Petition for additional Provision, the Standing Orders ought to be dispensed with:—That the parties be permitted to insert their additional Provision if the Committee on the Bill think fit."
