HC Deb 26 April 1934 vol 288 c1852
6. Colonel CLIFTON BROWN

asked the Minister of Labour if he is aware of the desperate economic position of the town of Haltwhistle, Northumberland; and if it is proposed to make inquiries to see what can be done to improve matters?

Mr. HUDSON

My hon. and gallant Friend has previously drawn attention to the position at Haltwhistle, and I can assure him that it will not be overlooked.
