§ Mr. E. BROWNAt 31st December, 1925, the quantity of coal in stock at pit-head in Great Britain was 4,971,000 tons and at 31st December, 1933, 6,096,000 tons. The corresponding figures for Lancashire and Cheshire were 661,000 tons and 648,000 tons, respectively.
