asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air if he will state the number of Members of Parliament, if any, that are in receipt of half or retired pay from Air Force Votes, and the total sum involved?

No Member of this House is in receipt of half pay or retired pay from Air Votes.

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty the number of Members of Parliament, if any, that are in receipt of half or retired pay from Navy Votes, and the total sum involved?

The FIRST LORD of the ADMIRALTY (Sir Bolton Eyres Monsell)

Eight officers are in receipt of retired pay and one officer is in receipt of half-pay. The total amount for the nine officers is £4,655 15s. 5d. a year.
