asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he can report the result of consultations with the Government of India regarding the recommendations of the Warren Fisher Committee in reference to the Royal Army Medical Corps and other medical services of the defence forces?

Agreement has now been reached, and the Government decisions on the recommendations of the committee will be announced by the end of this month.
