§ Mr. E. BROWNA preliminary draft of regulations to deal comprehensively with the provision of means for the detection of firedamp by underground workmen has been communicated to the representative Associations of the industry for consideration, with an intimation that I shall be glad to discuss the draft with them. I am awaiting their replies.
