§ Mr. SHAKESPEARENo Inquiry into this matter was ordered by the District Auditor, but having taken exception at the audit of this Borough Council's accounts to the expenditure incurred, he followed the normal and proper course of affording the members concerned an opportunity of attending the audit and showing cause why the amount in question should not be disallowed and surcharged.
