asked the Minister of Labour the estimated saving to the Unemployment Fund resulting from the reduction in 1931 of the period of statutory unemployment benefit?

It is estimated that the effect of the limitation of the period of benefit introduced in November, 1931, has been to reduce the expenditure of the Unemployment Fund on insurance account in the two years up to October,

Monmouth on the date specified in October of each of the years 1927 to 1933.
