HC Deb 27 November 1933 vol 283 cc513-4
41. Miss WARD

asked the Minister of Health if he is aware that the absence of Regulations dealing with the extension of the period for the payment of arrears under the National Health Insurance Act, 1932, until 31st March, 1934, is causing hardship; and will he make such Regulations as soon as possible?

The MINISTER of HEALTH (Sir Hilton Young)

An explanatory circular relating to the matter referred to by my hon. Friend has been prepared and is being sent to all approved societies. The necessary Regulations will also be issued within a few days.

Mr. LOGAN

As the circular will be very useful, will it be possible to get it early, so that it can be given out with the delivery of the cards in the New Year?

Sir H. YOUNG

It is coming out forthwith.
