Major MILLSasked the Minister of Transport if he will confer with the Electricity Commissioners as to the steps to be taken to press local distributing companies to be ready to take supplies of electricity in bulk from the grid system as soon as it is available, and to pass it on to would-be consumers at a reasonable price?
§ Lieut.-Colonel HEADLAMI am informed by the Commissioners that they are not aware of any reluctance on the part of local distributing undertakers to make arrangements with the Board for obtaining supplies of electricity as soon as they are available.
