Mr. STANLEYThe possibility of improving the organisation of the distribution of electricity is naturally a subject which engages my attention, but I do not 927 accept my hon. Friend's suggestion that the success of the Central Electricity Board is dependent on further legislation in the matter.

Mr. STANLEYThe Grampian Electricity Supply Company have informed me that in order to obviate the wayleave difficulties of which my Noble Friend is aware, they have arranged to deviate the route of the proposed electric line to Errol, and my consent to the deviation was given on 1st November. I understand that the company hope to afford a supply in Errol at an early date.
