§ 60. Mr. PERKINSasked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that the owners of the ferry over the Severn, at Arlingham, Gloucestershire, have discontinued the cattle boat and, as a result, it is impossible for farmers living east of the river to transport their cattle to the markets on the west side of the river; and whether he will make inquiries into the matter with a view to securing the provision of transport facilities for cattle and motor cars?
Mr. STANLEYI have no knowledge of the cattle ferry at Arlingham, but I am having inquiries made and will communicate the result to the hon. Member.
