asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what communications have passed between his Department and/or the Chief Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police and the women's reserve corps now in course of creation under the command of Commandant Allen; whether any grant of public moneys to the organisation has been made or is contemplated; and what information he has as to the constitution, objects, numbers, and activities of the organisation?

No communications have passed between the Home Office or the Commissioner of Police about a proposed women's reserve corps, and I have no information about it. No grant of public money to such a corps has been made or is contemplated.
