HC Deb 13 November 1933 vol 281 c569
22. Sir BERTRAM FALLE

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he is now in a position to inform the House whether the Brazilian authorities have completed their investigation and have readjusted the tramway and ferry fares of the Leopoldina Terminal and the Cantareira Companies so as to end the loss caused to British investors in those companies?

Mr. EDEN

I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the reply which was given on the 9th November to my hon. friends the Members for Newcastle-upon-Tyne North (Sir N. Grattan-Doyle) and Aberdeen North (Mr. Burnett). There is at present nothing which I can add to that reply.
