§ Mr. SHAKESPEAREThe distribution of the grant has been made on the basis set out in Command Paper No. 4374, which accompanied the Estimate. As the amounts allotted to individual areas involve a considerable number of figures I will, with my hon. Friend's permission, circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT a statement showing the approximate amounts for England and Wales. If information is desired in regard to the allocation in Scotland, an inquiry should be addressed to the Secretary of State.
