§ 15. Captain PETER MACDONALDasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether all necessary arrangements, with regard to landing grounds and other services, have been made in Malaya to enable the London-Australian air route to be commenced in accordance with the scheduled dates?
§ Sir P. CUNLIFFE-LISTERGround facilities for aircraft already exist in Malaya and the Governments concerned have agreed to make these available for use by Imperial Airways in connection with the proposed air service to Australia. I understand that the question whether any relatively small additional facilities will be needed is now under examination by the company.
§ Captain HAROLD BALFOURWill these facilities be available for other lines than Imperial Airways?
§ Sir P. CUNLIFFE-LISTERI should like notice of that question.
