asked the Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department whether, and to what extent, His Majesty's Government will participate in the forthcoming Canadian National Exhibition to be held at Toronto?

The Department of Overseas Trade proposes to have, as has been customary in recent years, a commercial information bureau at the exhibition under the direction of His Majesty's Trade Commissioner at Toronto. I may add that, as in the past, steps are being taken by the Federation of British Industries to maintain the fullest representation possible of United Kingdom manufactures.

Can the hon. And gallant Member say whether his Department in England is co-operating with industry in this country with reference to their representation in the exhibition?
