§ Major TRYONI have no record of the total number of applications for the renewal of surgical boots. The number of surgical boots supplied during the 18 months ending 31st March last was 19,459. During the last 12 months of this period (for which alone records have been kept) the number of cases in which ordinary boots were on medical advice adapted to pensioners' requirements was 622.
