Colonel GOODMANasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether before issuing orders under Section 7 (1) of the Import Duties Act, 1932, it is the intention of the commissioners to obtain the advice and assistance of the Import Duties Advisory Committee in connection with the discharge by the Treasury of their functions under the Act, as provided by Section 2 (1)?

As regards the relations between the Advisory Committee and the Board of Trade, on whose recommendation the Treasury act under the Section, perhaps my hon. and gallant Friend would put a question to the President.
