HC Deb 18 May 1933 vol 278 c496
1. Mr. LIDDALL

asked the Minister of Labour if he will consider including a scheme of unemployment insurance for agricultural workers in the measure which he is to submit to the House this Session?

The MINISTER of LABOUR (Sir Henry Betterton)

I am afraid I cannot anticipate the terms of future legislation.

Mr. LIDDALL

Will the Minister be prepared further to consider the matter if joint representation is made by the employers and the employés?

Sir H. BETTERTON

I will consider any representations. I have already had some, but I will consider any further representations that may be made.
