§ 60. Mr GRAHAM WHITE (for Sir PERCYHARRIS)asked the Minister of Health how many slum-clearance schemes he has received from local authorities Since the 1st January; how many acres are comprised therein; and what Capttal expenditure is involved?
§ Mr. SHAKESPEAREResolutions have been received by my Department Since the date in question declaring 211 areas in England and Wales to be clearance areas. No information is available as to the acreage of these areas, but they contain approximately 4,300 houses. My right hon. Friend is at present unable to say what total amount of Capttal expenditure will be involved.
