§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAThe particulars required to be furnished under the Section referred to by my hon. Friend are designed to afford to the Inland Revenue information as to the current values of land, which is required by the Valuation Office of that Department for various purposes, including valuations for Death Duties and the advising of other Government Departments in regard to the purchase and sale of land for public purposes. The information obtained under the Section is not communicated to other Departments.
