§ Mr. RUNCIMANThe date of Iraq's entry into the League of Nations was the 3rd October, 1932. The value of the aggregate imports of cotton goods into Iraq during the third and fourth quarters of 1932 amounted to £344,770 and £366,450, respectively, of which imports recorded as consigned from the United Kingdom were valued at £114,907 and £109,658, respectively. Comparable figures for a later period are not yet available.
