HC Deb 03 May 1933 vol 277 c837
41. Colonel WEDGWOOD

asked the Home Secretary whether he has any information as to the intention of the Nazis to open a Brown House in London; and whether he has given approval for such action by the German Government?

Sir J. GILMOUR

I have no information indicating that there is any intention of starting such an institution in this country, and consequently the second part of the question does not arise.

Colonel WEDGWOOD

May I take it that any immigrants from Germany who come to this country in order to support the Nazi regime here, will be refused entry into the country?

Mr. DORAN

May I ask if the right hon. Gentleman does not consider that it would be far more advantageous to this country to have a patriotic Brown House here instead of a Bolshevist Russian revolutionary house, which my right hon. and gallant Friend and his like defend?

Mr. SPEAKER

That seems to me a matter of opinion.
