§ 10. Mr. CHORLTONasked the Secretary of State for India if he is aware of the ban on imported British cotton goods by the Cotton Goods Combination of Karachi; and what steps he proposes to take to have it removed?
§ Sir S. HOAREI have seen a reference to this embargo in the Press, from which I gather that it has been imposed in order to help to reduce stocks of piece goods already awaiting distribution and is not confined in its operation to British goods. I am asking for further information from India.
