§ 30. Mr. BANFIELDasked the Minister of Transport whether, in view of recent prosecutions at Stoke-on-Trent and elsewhere where it was difficult to prove offences owing to verbal orders as to route, rest, loading, and unloading not being possible to fulfil, he will seek powers at once to compel all drivers to be supplied with a time, route, and general instruction docket for the information of the police and the protection of both owners and drivers; and if he will take all possible steps to enable the operation of the hours Section of the Act?
