HC Deb 14 March 1933 vol 275 c1781
45. Mr. MANDER

asked the Prime Minister whether consideration will be given to the question of effecting large economies in expenditure by substituting the Royal Air Force for the Territorial Army for the defence of the country from invasion?

Mr. BALDWIN

The defence of this country from invasion is a matter of cooperation between the three defence services, and is kept constantly under review.
